Located in the heart of Armadale, the High Street office has been designed to reflect our client's character while being sensitive to the Victorian style of the evolving local Armadale context.
Ground floor activation is a crucial element to the project, where the retail frontage has greater hierarchy with the office entry designed to sit more discreetly within the street interface. Exploring design opportunities lead to a refined architectural expression that combines strong vertical emphasis, masonry framing and an exploration of tactile materials.
The lobby and common spaces have been designed with particular attention to detail and craftsmanship. Careful selection of natural materials alongside specialist lighting contributes to a feeling of grandeur articulated through a restrained design approach.
