Launceston Creative Precinct
The design of the Rejuvenation Precinct balances the city’s need for a contemporary landmark with the community’s historic affinity for the local character.

Inspired by natural rock formations, the design integrates a double height folding colonnade, bold brick elements and sculptural tower features, creating a harmonious blend that complements the existing streetscapes and neighborhoods of the surrounding site.
The overall precinct offers a diverse array of amenities, including hotel, versatile function spaces, wellness facilities, public transit access, retail, food and beverage and office spaces.
Embracing the heritage listed building is balanced with integrating a contemporary approach to establish a public arcade, pedestrian walkway and landscaped areas that enhance connectivity, natural light and separation between the heritage and modern structures.
